Sydney Liu, RPN Medical Secretary - Patient Coordinator

(She / Her)

Sydney started her career in mental health research after completing her Bachelor’s of Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour at McMaster University. After working in the field, she made the pivot to nursing to pursue a field where she can have a direct impact in improving patient outcomes and has since worked in the long-term care, community, and primary care sectors.

She has held various positions in the healthcare field including lead clinic nurse, medical administrator, and patient care coordinator. Sydney recognizes the importance of both mental and physical health and is thrilled to bring her clinical and administrative expertise to the field of fertility.

Sydney is excited to welcome new patients with a smile on her face and to lend a helping hand to all throughout their unique fertility journey.

Why I Chose Fertility Medicine

“I believe that everyone should have an opportunity to start their own family regardless of their circumstances. There are so many factors that go into fertility and I hope to be someone that patients can rely on during their journeys from start to finish.

I pride myself on being someone who is extremely empathetic and I truly believe this empathy and caring nature is especially important for a field such as fertility where patients are at such a vulnerable time in their lives.

It is such a privilege to be a part of someone’s life story and to be involved in the process as they navigate their way through the fertility journey to build their families.
